She is a massive bint to be sure and no doubt has already entered into a contractual relationship with Harry M. Miller, but how can you stay silent in the face of Lee Harding performing Survivor's 'Eye of the Tiger' on Sunday rather than, say, 'Holiday in Cambodia' by The Dead Kennedys?

A bint! That is a glorious and under-used word, Manxzilla. You are S2BC's favourite person today.

Bint! Love it! Cloth-eared or moistened?
Michelle Leslie does absolutely nothing to dispel the airhead model stereotype.
[begin rant]
'Eye of the Tiger' reinterpreted in a punk vein, insomuch as Lee Harding understands punk (which is, essentially, not at all)? Please insert the nails into my eardrums now. Lee is the musical equivalent of that really annoying relative who only knows one joke, and it's a really bad joke, but insists on telling it every time you see them.
Did anyone choose an '80s-defining song? I only paid scant attention to Inside Idol last night, but it seemed that most were choosing 'safe' balads (which may turn out to be anything but safe) that could have come from any of the last 3 decades. That's been a pretty common mistake, I think (last week excepted), that they have chosen songs merely from an era or a genre, but not really one defining or epitomising it.
Although I generally hated the music around when I was in my teens during the early-mid 80s, I would have thought, at the very least, they should have been made to listen to the soundtrack from the Breakfast Club as some sort of reference point. But then, I noticed that they were singing "Dancing in the Street" around the piano at the end of Inside Idol. Does John Foreman consider that this is an '80s song because it was covered by both Van Halen and Bowie/Jagger in that decade?
Dan desperately needs to get out of the rut he's fallen into. I thought he was a fan of Otis Redding. Why isn't he hitting the Volt/Stax and Motown back catalogues and other songs in a similar vein at every opportunity? That would kill compared to the shit he's been choosing.
I've been thinking over the past 2-3 weeks about the apparent lack of passion from the contestants this year and I now think that a big part of the blame lies with the band. It's so busy being tight and smooth that it's forgotten about the feel. In general their tempo has been sufficiently slow to prevent the contestants from lifting things a notch. Look at the difference when they brought in the big band. While the contestants have been guilty of taking the safe road far too often in this series, I think we would be seeing some far better performances if the band could find its groove thang.
[end rant]

Judging from the photo, the bars, the cameras, the strange posture, she looks more like a fresh recruit at the local muslim $2 peeps.

How dare you, Michelle Leslie is a pious and faithful Muslim woman who obeys each of the tenets of the Holy Qu'ran and there is NOTHING FUNNY ABOUT THIS AT ALL.

I find her almost endearing.
If the world only knew how many muslims were ravers.
Fuck, I was once a raver!
My question for Mee's though, with it being Ramadan and all, is she fasting as she should be?
I sincerely hope so - otherwise she joins the likes of myself in being a very bad muslim.
It's funny watching my 12 year old brother starve/die of thirst till sunset.
